At EchoHorizon, our mission is to connect youth performers with senior homes, hospitals, and community spaces through the power of music and art.
Here’s how our process works:

1. Preliminary Registration
-
Performers must first register on our website through this form
-
Once registered, we will contact you when an event arises with the event details.
-
You’ll then receive an email with the date, time, venue details, and performance schedule.
-
The email also includes a Google Form (to confirm attendance, song choice, and any special needs), as well as liability and media consent forms.
-
Time slots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
2. On the Day
-
Arrival time depends on the venue, but performers are usually expected to arrive 5–15 minutes before their scheduled slot.
-
Depending on the venue, parents may or may not be allowed inside. In most senior homes, parents are not permitted due to security policies, though exceptions can sometimes be made for very young performers.
-
Staff and senior home volunteers guide performers from the waiting area to the stage, then back to the seating area after their performance.
-
Performers are expected to stay until the closing remarks. An event usually lasts about 40 minutes to 1 hour in total.
3. During the Event
-
A photographer captures photos and short video clips, which are shared with families afterward.
-
Venues provide essentials like a piano, music stand, and seating. Performers should bring their instrument, sheet music, and water if needed.
4. Benefits for Performers
-
Gain valuable performance experience.
-
Receive volunteer hours (if eligible).
-
Make a meaningful impact by sharing music and joy with seniors in the community.
