Who are we?

Founded in 2024, EchoHorizon is dedicated to enriching the lives of elderly residents in nursing homes through music, creating intergenerational connections that benefit both seniors and youth. Our mission is to provide meaningful experiences that brighten the days of seniors while offering volunteer opportunities for young people to develop empathy and community involvement. We conduct live performances, foster relationships, and support local artists, guided by our core values of empathy, respect, and transparency.

What is EchoHorizon?

EchoHorizon is a youth-led nonprofit that brings live music and joy to senior homes through student performances.

Who can participate in the event?

Any youth musician or student passionate about music and community service is welcome to join. We accept a wide range of instruments and skill levels!

Is there a fee to join or perform?

Not at all! EchoHorizon events are completely free for performers. We’re all about supporting artists, so there are no fees or hidden costs to participate — just a welcoming space to share your talent.

Where do performances happen?

Currently, we host events in local senior homes. Specific venues will be shared with registered performers before each event.

How do I sign up to perform?

Signup for the preliminary registration .Simply provide your name, instrument, and a few details about your piece(s).

Do I need to bring my own instrument?

Yes, please bring your own instrument unless otherwise stated. We’ll let you know if a piano or other setup is already available at the venue.

What should I wear?

Attendees are encouraged to wear smart casual or performance-appropriate attire to ensure a comfortable yet polished appearance that aligns with the tone and atmosphere of the event.

Will I get volunteer hours?

Yes! Performers can receive verified volunteer hours upon request. Just let us know after the event, and we’ll provide the documentation you need.
